Salads, and other foods with many ingredients, can be tricky to coordinate. While fruits and vegetables are completely gluten free in their rawest form, other toppings may not be. Therefore, you must always ask and investigate before adding croutons, bacon bits, nuts, and more to your salad. Additionally, GF dressings may be a struggle. While many dressings are gluten free, ones served at restaurants may contain gluten. So remember, just like anything else, when in doubt, go without!
